Harris Woolf Almonds prides itself on our reputation for quality almonds. We maintain the highest standards during every step of the growing, handling and marketing process—resulting in a consistent high-quality product.
We start with the finest natural almonds grown under the watchful eye of our capable growers with assistance from our field representatives. Our facilities process the almonds to maintain their natural quality and deliver according to our customer's specifications. We are proud to be SQF Level 3 Certified and compliant with Food Safety Modernization Act provisions. We have consistently received "Excellent" ratings from both DFA of California and the Almond Hullers & Processors Association. We use conditioned warehousing and comprehensive quality testing to enhance grading and increase shelf life performance. All our almonds are Kosher Certified, GMO compliant and meet HALAL standards. Our goal at Harris Woolf is to assure Food Safety and product quality for all of our customers by complying with the Global Food Safety Initiative
We are committed to supplying safe food; complying with customer requirements, specifications and regulatory requirements. We are fully committed to implementing and maintaining an effective SQF System and support its ongoing improvements. We are proud to announce that we have been accredited as SQF Level 3 at both or Coalinga and Ballico facilities.
In order to achieve our goal, senior management actively participates in food safety programs and requires that all plant personnel adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. All employees must also be knowledgeable of our HAACP program.
